At the 2017 San Francisco Veteran’s Day parade on November 11, Price Simms Auto Group was joined by Wells Fargo and Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) in presenting a payment-free vehicle to retired U.S. Army Sergeant Jaime Arzadon. Sgt. Arzadon and his family received a new Toyota RAV4 and one year of financial mentoring with MWSF. He was among the chosen by MWSF's Transportation4Heroes Program.

Special thanks to Adam Simms, Mike Christian and Mike Shum at Price Simms Auto Group for their collaboration in making this donation possible.

Sgt. Arzadon grew up in the Philippines and a resident of Daly City, California. He came to the United States in 2000 and wanted to serve this country as his own to repay the opportunity it has given him.

The 9/11 attacks also compelled him to join the military. He served as a general equipment operator and a combat engineer in Iraq, maintaining equipment and providing convoy escort and route clearance.

Sgt. Arzadon was injured when his team was the lead vehicle in a convoy and was hit by a roadside bomb. He was awarded the Purple Heart for being wounded in combat, and numerous other awards.

Today, Sgt. Arzadon works as a field service engineer and hopes to get his contract license in electrical or construction. He’s looking forward to having a vehicle that will help him commute to work and will fit his family.
