Unveiled at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas, the new Toyota Tacoma T/X Baja Edition will join the already impressive Japanese line up next year. "It's the type of truck that will shine in a Texas ranch environment, or on a Midwest hunting trip, off the highway in a California desert, or anywhere, east or west, where the roads are rugged," said Toyota division boss Bob Carter at its unveiling at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas.1
The new Tacoma Baja includes Toyota's TRD Off-Road package, and rides two inches higher than a stock model on large coil springs and racing shocks in the front and rear suspension. The T/X Baja Series package also includes:
- Electronically controlled locking rear differential
- Active Traction Control
- Hill Start and Downhill Assist Controls
- BF Goodrich T/A KO tires wrapped around off-road wheels in a gunmetal gray and Baja Series graphics.
The new Toyota truck will have a limited run of 2 months in Spring, 2012.
